The HKU Musketeers Foundation Institute of Data Science (HKU IDS) has its IDS scholars as core members, alongside academic researchers from different Departments across the University. It also extends its membership or affiliation to faculty members in the University community who are actively engaged in the Institute’s initiatives and activities.
The Institute will also launch Fellowship Program, and external and visiting researchers through our IDS Visiting Professors Scheme and other academic exchange activities to expand its connections and faculty profile.

The HKU Musketeers Foundation Institute of Data Science (HKU IDS) wishes to work closely with our researchers at HKU with a number of new initiatives. The Institute is not only home to newly recruited IDS researchers under the HKU-100 recruitment, it also acts as a focal point to connect our expertise in key areas ranging from data science, computing, mathematics, statistics, education, social sciences, business, and health care. Members are actively engaged in IDS, sharing the same vision and mission with IDS in promoting research excellence in data science, and contributing to its activities and programs.
