This summer, HKU IDS is launching IDS Summer Workshop 2026 – Build the Brains Behind the Bots – AI Agents: Advances, Challenges, and Future Directions, a three-day on-campus workshop led by Prof Chao HUANG.
Set on the HKU campus, the workshop will introduce participants to the foundations of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI agent architectures, covering how AI agents think, real-world impact and applications, multi-agent systems, and the possibilities and limits of AI agent technologies.
The workshop is designed for undergraduate / postgraduate students and all AI-curious learners looking to stay ahead in the age of intelligent systems.
