Build the Brains Behind the Bots! IDS Summer Workshop 2026​

​This summer, HKU IDS is launching IDS Summer Workshop 2026 – AI Agents: Advances, Challenges, and Future Directions, a three-day on-campus workshop led by Prof Chao HUANG.​

​Set on the HKU campus from 19–21 August 2026, the workshop will introduce participants to the foundations of Large Language Models and AI agents, covering LLM architecture, agent design, planning and reasoning, memory, multi-agent collaboration, real-world applications, and capstone project activities.​

​The workshop is designed for students at undergraduate level or above who are interested in generative AI, intelligent systems, and future research directions. Basic Computer Science or AI knowledge will be a plus.​
