The 2025 Inaugural Hong Kong AI and Frontier Technology Forum was held on 17 January 2025 at Loke Yew Hall, The University of Hong Kong. The Forum also marked the launch of the inaugural cohort of the HKU Advanced Technology Fellowship Programme.
Under the theme “AI Vision: Opportunities for a Brighter Future”, the Forum brought together representatives from academia, industry, investment, and government to examine the impact of artificial intelligence on scientific discovery, industrial innovation, finance, digital assets, and real-world applications.
The programme featured keynote speeches and roundtable discussions by speakers from leading universities, research organisations, technology enterprises, investment institutions, and public-sector bodies.
