About Me
Professor Hoyeon Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and a member of the Centre of Cancer Medicine at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). With a robust background in medical physics, AI-driven medical imaging, and radiation therapy optimization, Professor Lee is internationally recognized for pioneering computational models and deep learning solutions that enhance precision in cancer diagnosis and treatment.
He earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), specializing in nuclear engineering, medical imaging, and medical physics, respectively. Following his doctoral studies, he completed the prestigious CAMPEP-accredited Medical Physics Certificate Program at Harvard Medical School (2022–2024), where he honed expertise in advanced radiation oncology and imaging physics.
