Organized by the HKU Musketeers Foundation Institute of Data Science, the HKU AI Forum 2025 has officially come to a close. The two-day international Forum, taken place between October 26–27, 2025 at the beautiful venue of the Faculty Board Room of the LKS Faculty of Medicine, brought together leading minds in artificial intelligence to explore the frontiers of generative models, multimodal AI, embodied intelligence, computer vision, and machine learning theory.

HKU IDS would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our distinguished speakers from UC San Diego, Tsinghua University, HKUST, NTU , Stanford, and more, for delivering thought-provoking talks and engaging in dynamic panel discussions that sparked meaningful dialogue and new perspectives.

Special recognition also goes to our talented PhD students whose lightning talks showcased the next generation of AI research right here at HKU! Your active participation and insightful questions made this hybrid event truly vibrant and impactful.
