Warmest greetings to Professor Ho CHEN, our recently onboarded HKU-100 Scholar under our HKU-100 Global Professoriate Recruitment Campaign (data science cluster)! Professor Chen is our Chair Professor, jointly appointed by HKU IDS and Computer Science. 

Professor Chen received his PhD in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. His current research interests are computer security, machine learning, and program analysis and testing. He directs the JC STEM Lab of Intelligent Cybersecurity. He is a fellow of IEEE.

Let’s welcome Professor Ho CHEN to our HKU IDS research community, and we look forward to collaborating with him and his team towards the goal of deriving innovative applications of machine learning models and algorithms to security problems.
